Delicious Mushroom Tart
I love mushrooms, so this recipe is perfect all the mushroom lovers out there. The use of Suya Spice adds even more flavor and depth to this tart. This simple meatless meal can easy fit into your weekly meal planning too. Enjoy!

Ingredients
3 cups of Cremini Mushrooms, chopped
1 sheet of Puff Pastry Sheet, rectangular
1 tbsp Butter
1 small Red Onion, diced
2 tbsp Suya Spice
2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese, grated
4 sprigs of Thyme
2 tbsp Fresh Dill, chopped
1 Egg, beaten
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Black Pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Melt butter in a saucepan at medium heat.
Sauté the onion for 3 minutes or until fragrant.
Add mushrooms, suya spice, garlic powder and black pepper fresh thyme and dill. Stir to combine and allow to cook until mushrooms are browned; 6 minutes.
Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make a light outline along the inner edges of the puff pastry using a knife then score the pastry using a fork.
Transfer half of the mushroom mix onto the puff pastry, followed by mozzarella cheese, then the other half of the mushrooms and top with the remaining cheese.
Brush the exposed edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
Place the pastry in the oven and bake for 20 - 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and pastry puffy is golden brown.
