Easy Croissant French Toast Bake

French toast or eggy bread can be easily adapted using croissants. An create adaptation to make use of stale croissants in a delicious way. Enjoy this sweet breakfast recipe with your favorite people!

Easy Croissant French Toast Bake

Serves: 6-8

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Bake Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

10 -12 croissants (1-2 days old)

6 eggs, beaten

1 ½  cup cream or whole milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 ½ tsp cinnamon

Salt to taste

Optional Toppings

1 cup Strawberries, sliced

1 cup Blueberries

Maple Syrup

Whipped cream

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F

  2. In a bowl or measuring cup, whisk together, eggs, cream, cinnamon and salt.

  3. Slice or tear the croissants and soak in egg mixture. Transfer to a greased  9x13 baking dish.

  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until croissants are crispy and golden on top.

  5. Allow to cool slightly before topping with fruit, whipped cream or syrup.

  6. Serve warm.
