Easy Peach Cobbler

August is the perfect time for peaches! I wanted to take full advantage of the seasonal stone fruit and make a treat. A super easy shortcut for this recipe is to use Bisquick, which is quick and versatile when it comes to baking. Secondly, if you’d prefer not to slice fresh peaches and/or are pressed for time you can also use canned sliced peaches. These alternatives make the process just a tad bit quicker.

Bake time: 50 mins

Cobbler Batter

1  cup Bisquick Mix

1 cup Milk, dairy or nondairy

½  cup Butter, or margarine

2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Peaches

3 cups Sliced Peaches, fresh or canned and drained

¼ cup Brown Sugar, optional

¼ cup Granulated Sugar

1 tsps Cinnamon

1 tsp Cornstarch

  3. Melt the butter and transfer to an 8x8 inch baking dish.
